No win, no fee — you only pay if successful
Why choose professional help with your application?
Applying for Attendance Allowance can be more complex than it seems. The form is over 30 pages long and requires detailed information about care needs — something many people find difficult to explain clearly.
In fact, over 60% of applications are rejected. This is often not because people aren’t eligible, but because the form isn’t completed in the right way.
Getting expert help can make the difference between being approved or missing out on the support you’re entitled to.
Why choose us?
We don’t just help you apply — we help you get approved.
If your application isn’t successful, you owe us nothing. That’s our promise.
We complete and submit the full application on your behalf, you don’t have to fill in a single form.
Applications completed and endorsed by HCPC registered clinicians.
vs. a 40% success rate for unassisted applications.
How it works
Free eligibility check
Start with a quick call with a registered HCPC occupational therapist. We’ll confirm if you may qualify and explain everything clearly, no obligation to proceed.
We handle your application
If you’re eligible, your occupational therapist gathers the right information and completes the full application for you, making sure everything is presented properly to maximise your chances.
You get your result — risk free
Once submitted, the DWP reviews your claim and notifies you of the outcome. If successful, payments are backdated. You only pay if your claim is approved, otherwise there’s nothing to pay.
What is Attendance Allowance?
Attendance Allowance is a tax-free benefit for people over 66 who need extra support due to a health condition, such as arthritis, diabetes, or anything that affects daily life.
It is not means-tested. Your income and savings do not affect your eligibility. Many people qualify without realising it.
You may qualify if:
- You’re over State Pension age (66+)
- You need help due to a health condition
- You’ve had difficulties for 6+ months
- You’re not already claiming PIP or DLA
2025 rates: Lower £320/month • Higher £478/month
Rates set by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). In Scotland: Pension Age Disability Payment (PADP).

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about Attendance Allowance and how we help.
Attendance Allowance is a tax-free benefit for people who have reached State Pension age and need help because of illness or disability. It is paid by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. In Scotland, a similar benefit is Pension Age Disability Payment (PADP).
No. Attendance Allowance is not means-tested. Your income and savings do not reduce the amount you might receive. What matters is whether you meet the care and supervision rules set by the DWP.
No. You can use Attendance Allowance in any way that helps you stay independent, for example heating, transport, equipment, or support. There is no requirement to spend it only on paid care.
Attendance Allowance does not reduce your State Pension and is tax-free. Some other benefits can interact with Attendance Allowance, so it is worth checking your full circumstances with an adviser or with the DWP.
We work on a no win, no fee basis. There is no upfront charge for our help with your application. If your claim is unsuccessful, you owe us nothing. If it succeeds, you pay a one-off success fee (see our Pricing section for regional amounts). That fee is often covered by your first payment and any backdating.
